  1. Yes, what they did is reprehensible. However, this kind of cosmic killjoy (excuse the pun) could come back to haunt them. What if they need that technology? That could come back to bite them in a place that is most vulnerable to them.

    Reminds me of the move Independence Day, where they had to resort to primitive communications to beat the invaders at their own game.
