Demonstrating once again how the Nicolaitans are inclined prostrate towards false gods and heresy, the U.S. Catholic bishops has decided homosexuals can not choose to repent, and so are welcomed into their churches (“Catholic bishops tell gays to remain celibate,” Reuters, Nov. 14, 2006).
This sad predicament is the result of their reasoning “that gays and lesbians do not choose their sexual orientation.” But the contortionists lose their balance and fall over when they stretch compromise too thin by stating “homosexual ‘inclinations’ are not in themselves sinful.” The Catholic bishops only ask that they not act on thier inclinations, or remain celibate. Jesus had something decidedly different to say about what these religious leaders are euphemizing as “inclinations.” Here is a salute to scriptures they never read:Â Â
Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. (Mat 5:27-28; emphases added)
But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.(Mat 15:18)
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man. (Mat 15:19-20)
Like the Pharisees, the Nicolaitans are only concerned with external appearances, or whitewashed sepultures. This is the equivalence of admitting homosexuals on their bases of remaining homosexuals, and only requiring them to pledge to celibacy. It’s not, however, a surprising position for an organization to embrace that has also recruited, harbored, and assisted an untold number homosexuals to molest and sexually abuse children. This is the equivalence of admitting homosexuals on their bases of remaining homosexuals; and only requiring them to pledge to celibacy. No doubt some homosexuals will be enticed into accepting this pretense of reconciliation with God, and deal with penance for breaking celibacy as minor inconveniences worth the false sense of security. Anyone else more serious about the real God, no matter what kind of sinner they identify as, should consider this:
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

If your desire real reconciliationg with God, you too must become a “were” by repenting and turning Christ Jesus. He alone can save you from your sin. In this life, and in the one to come.
