The Last Revolt

The parallels between the French Revolution, and that period’s social gospel preachers, and the Raiders of the Messianic Kingdom, and their gospel of the kingdom, can be stated at least one more time by circling the analogy back onto itself.  The French Revolution not only failed to usher in the Kingdom that was  promised and hoped for, but it resulted in quite the opposite. As soon as the revolutionaries gained the ground upon which to lay the  foundation for their kingdom, the Reign of Terror began and was followed by other assorted campaigns of bloodshed and executions arising from competing factions striving for ideological supremacy and power.  In the space of only several months, as many as forty thousand people may have been killed with approximately 18,000 of those official executions where the condemned were beheaded by use of the guillotine. The resulting mob rule was one of the natural consequences of ushering in a kingdom without a rightful king.

We can know that the Raiders are building a false kingdom and not participating in ushering in the actual Messianic Kingdom if we remember only one thing: Christ told us His kingdom is not of this world (Jh 18:36).

The success of the Raiders in building their kingdom will produce a similar result to the Reign of Terror with one important new development heretofore unseen on the world stage.  After they assist in producing a world community ripe to receive their kingdom, a vacuum of opportunity will be created for a small period of  time wherein a talented impostor will seize the day.  It will be Antichrist, who actually holds the title deed to the kingdoms of this world (Mat 4:8; Rev 11:15), and who seeks the worship that belongs to God alone.

The reign of Antichrist is referred to in the Bible as the tribulation period (Mat 24:8-21; 2Thess 1:4-10).  It will last only seven years, yet one half of the world’s population will be wiped out by supernatural destruction, disease and famine, and wars (Rev 6:7; 8:10-11; 9:13-21). If it were to commence today, the number destroyed would exceed 3 billion people.

At present, the Antichrist is being withheld by the Holy Spirit from taking the stage, but the Holy Spirit will accompany the true Christians to Heaven and to the marriage supper of the Lamb at the rapture. Then the restraining force will be gone (2Th 2:7).

As the world continues to ripen for judgment, its evil progress will create the setting for Antichrist’s kingdom. He will come onto the world stage as a great diplomat, peacemaker, and a proponent of social justice (Dan 7:8).  He will also  require complete inclusion; and the world will gladly welcome him, and make him their king (Dan 11:36; Rev 13:4). Then he will command the world to worship him (Rev 13:15-18), but there will be many who will refuse him, and many will be martyred for their allegiance to the one true King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

The method of execution employed will most likely be a revived guillotine, for we read in Revelation:

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years (Rev 20:4).

Those will be incredibly difficult times, and those who refuse to take the mark will be praying for their daily bread to be supernaturally provided because of the famines, and wars, and persecution; and they will be praying for His Kingdom to come, and His will to be done on earth (Mat 6:10).

They will also preach, appropriately at that time, the Gospel of the Kingdom for a comfort to those suffering under the Antichrist, as that will be the next thing to happen: Christ’s’ return to earth, and the setting up of His Messianic Kingdom.

It will also be a testimony against Antichrist and his followers as it spells their doom, and they will detest it, but it shall be proclaimed nonetheless until the very end:

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. (Mat 24:14)

This Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached by true Israel (Rom 9:6), and not by the Church which will be absent.  The preachers are the elect of God which he has always reserved (Rom 11).  They are a called out people who God never numbers among the ‘nations’ (Gentiles, Num 23:9).

This is why the Bible also refers to this time as “Jacob’s trouble” (Jer 30:7).  Because in addition to God pouring out his wrath upon the world, he turns His attention to purifying Israel until she calls upon His name:

And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God. (Zec 13:9)

This national repentance by Israel will be the end of “the times of the Gentiles” (Lk 21:24).  Their rule over the kingdoms of this earth will cease.

Then shall be fulfilled what the angel Gabriel told the virgin Mariam:

He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. (Luk 1:32-33)

The glory of those false kingdoms which the Devil gave to the Raiders in exchange for their worship will be destroyed and eventually incinerated along with all impurities to purify the earth for God’s holy inhabitants (2Pet 3:10).

The Raiders of the Messianic Kingdom represent the beginning  of the last revolt against Christ and the Messianic Kingdom that will take place before the end of this age.  This apostate movement is the falling away from the faith currently taking place all over the world, and it is the beginning of the final Apostasy prophesied to occur in the last days (2 Tim 2:3).

For the short time remaining the wise servants of Christ must continue in the harvest (Lk 10:2).

Those who still have need of the milk of the word, establishing the first principals and doctrines of Christ, let them continue towards strong meat and become of full age:

For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil (Heb 5:13-14).

We need to keep exercising because we are living in a time of great deception, when good and evil are seemingly walking hand-in-hand and are hard to be distinguished.

The Raiders of the Messianic Kingdom can be known by their message of a counterfeit earthly kingdom, and by the followers they produce with that message. Those pastors are false prophets casting their visions and prognosticating the success of their programs to ensnare the simple along with the unrepentant.  They are dressed in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves (Mat 7:15). Their kingdom is populated in large part by reprobates seeking creature comforts.  In their inner circle they have their acolytes and apologists.

These followers of the Raiders will eventually become followers of Antichrist, and they are spoken of in the book of Matthew as thorns and thistles, and in the book of Isaiah as his thorns and briers which the Holy One of Israel shall consume with his fire (Isa 10:12-20). They represent the works of the flesh; the product of mankind’s attempt to perfect his world and himself, and they shall not inherit the kingdom of God (Gal 5:19-21). They are the fruit produced by the efforts and doctrines of men.

These are not contenders for the faith once delivered to the saints; they are defenders of the vision being cast by apostates, and are profiting from the false prophets’ gospel. They are on staff in their ministries, sell ancillary support products and services, or are writing and publishing coattail chasers which further obscure the Gospel of Grace. Their time will soon end.

The Apostle John, the apocalyptic seer of the Church, was given in a vision an account of the last revolt and how it is to be put down:

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth he judge and make war. (Rev 19:11).

The rider on this horse is the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS (Rev 19:16).  The second coming of Christ to earth will be contested by  Antichrist and his army of followers:

And I saw the beasts, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered to together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army (Rev 19;19).

Their utter destruction is called the “supper of the great God”  (Rev 19:17), and an angle will appear between the sun and the earth so that none will mistake the call to summon all fowls of the air to “eat the flesh of Kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men” (Rev 19:18).

The Lord will attend first to the Antichrist and his number one false prophet; casting them alive into the lake of fire (Rev 19:20).  Then the Raiders of the Messianic Kingdom will receive their rightful reward for their unholy insurrection.  The Bible, the book they shun unless it be spurious translations and paraphrases from unregenerate men used to justify their heresies, says of their end:

And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which proceeded out of his mouth: and the fowls were filled with their flesh (Rev 19:21).

There are coming two important dinner dates.  The first is the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, the Lord Jesus Christ.  It will attended by the Bride of Christ, His Church (Rev 19:6-9), and many friends of the bridegroom, such as John the Baptist who slept before the Church came into existence (Joh 3:29).  The last supper is the Supper of The Great God; where the table is set for the Raiders of the Messianic Kingdom.  If we listen closely, we can almost hear the dinner bells.
