The first brick in The Wall hasn’t been set and already advocates for open borders, sanctuary cities, and illegal immigration are vowing to self-deport when the Trump presidency begins. While the list is continuing to grow, it presently includes such personalities as Lena Dunham, Miley Cyrus, Whoopi Goldberg, Samuel L. Jackson, and Cher (link).
The favored destination of these malcontents is Canada.
While many patriots and other law-abiding citizens may welcome this exodus with a sigh of relief, it is a development not without it negative consequences.
If they make good on their word, America will be doing to Canada what Mexico has been doing to America for many decades: exporting low skilled, uneducated, and criminally minded to becomes burdens on the country they immigrate to.
But don’t start composing your apologies to the Canadian people just yet. Odds are low that the migration actually takes place because such scofflaws usually lack the character and moral fortitude to honor vows in the first place.
